One of the biggest benefits of using a SYNLawn® turf is the low maintenance involved! No mowing, no watering, no weeding- what could be better? Even so, that doesn’t mean your lawn should be neglected. Your turf still needs regular maintenance and attention to keep it fresh and presentable.

Clear your turf of debris

Although your SYNLawn® is not susceptible to weeds or burrowing animals, other unsightly annoyances can work their way in. Things like rocks, dirt, branches, and trash can easily be tracked into your yard. Removing this debris will extend your turf’s lifespan and keep it looking nice. Carefully go over your yard and pick the larger pieces out.

Help The Environment

Rinse regularly

Once you have removed the larger pieces of debris, it’s time to rinse. Gently wash your SYNLawn® with cool water from a hose to remove dust, pollen, and smaller bits of dirt. For best results, you should rinse your turf at least once a month.

Get Ready For Summer

Brush out your turf

Your lawn can get trampled or messy in high traffic areas. Brushing against the grain will restore your turf and get it looking fresh and uniform. Regular brushing will help your SYNLawn® to stay un-matted and strong.

Your SYNLawn® turf should last between 15-20 years. Regular turf maintenance will help ensure you get the longest lifespan possible. In addition to the routine steps above, make sure to attend to stains and pet waste as soon as possible, as stains can’t be mowed away like with natural grass.
